There is so much going on in Naples this 4th of July weekend. From the parade downtown to the fireworks off the beach, it will be a day of celebrating and enjoying good food, friends and family. A funny thing about July is you will start seeing Christmas presents for the Christmas in July celebrations, popularized in the USA in 1933 at a girl's camp festivity in North Carolina, that brought about the spirit of Christmas with Christmas carols, gift exchanges, and decor. In Florida, it seems like a far cry from the Christmas holidays as we reach a record heatwave, but it is none-the-less and opportunity to dream about our holidays and cooler weather to come.
